Find Your Purpose by Answering These Four Questions

You are not alone, more people are in the same boat. Practically every adult goes through an identity crisis. The period of overthinking your identity in your 20s has become known as a Quarter-Life Crisis.
Becoming an adult is stressful. The transition to working life is tough, after spending years in a secure school environment. A majority of young people feel pressure to succeed in their relationships, finances and jobs before hitting 30. But we often look over the fact that we are going through many big changes in our 20s. We move out and start living on our own, we get into serious romantic relationships, we graduate and take on our first serious job. Important life decisions follow each other in rapid succession, because we feel the pressure of becoming financially independent.
We are rushed into making impactful decisions that determine the course of our life. We simply do not get the time to think things through. Before you know it, you feel trapped in a demanding and uninspiring job. But it is not that easy to quit, because you still have to pay off your student debt and rent. So you just work your long hours, and barely get to see your friends.
You start to feel isolated. Lonely. Anxious. Doubts start kicking in. Is this all my life is going to be? What happened to my childhood dreams? What if I had made a couple different decisions in life?
Life can seem pointless and meaningless. And to be brutally honest with you, it is. Part of the problem why we get into an identity crisis, is because of the idea that we have such a thing as a ‘life purpose’. As if we were born with a secret life purpose decided by a higher power and it is our mission to discover it.
Well, no. The truth is that you have to write your own mission. We live on this earth for an undetermined period of time and it is up to you to decide how to spend your time.
At FreshSaga, we like to see life as something you can get better at. We see personal development as one big real life RPG. But right now, you are stuck at the character creation screen.
Some settings have already been filled in for you, like your race, height and eye color. But when it comes to selecting more personal traits, you are scared of making the wrong decisions. But this is a step you need to take. You need to know who you are, before you can decide who you want to become. That’s why FreshSaga is here to help you. We will help you define your current identity, visualize the future you desire and build a new system of habits.
It is totally fine to spend a year or two on creating the character you want to play for the next 50 years. But you will learn that the decisions you are making right now are far from final. Throughout your playthrough of life, you can still make incredible modifications to yourself.
